Finding the right Holistic Therapist
You know what it’s like. You order your favourite food in a new restaurant and you’re slightly disappointed, as you forgot to check the reviews before you went. I mean, how wrong can you go with roast potatoes?
Bringing it back home how important to do your research on any purchase or service you’re looking to buy. With a few new clients being welcomed into Haven House this year. I wanted to give you my top 5 tips on finding the right therapist for you, so you can make the right choice for you.

Top Tips from a Therapist
- Check their reviews and testimonials on Google / Facebook / Instagram. Always good to see what others are saying.
- What is the language they’re using in their copy? If you are looking for something more calming and relaxing, do they use words that would match the experience you want? If they are loud and brash, this may not be the vibe you’re looking for.
- Are there any pictures of them on their website or social media profiles? People buy people and I do like to see the person I’m buying a service from. I love that people feel they ‘know’ me before they even step foot through my door. especially if they are a little nervous.
- Ask a friend or relative if they have any experience with one. Recommendations are great!
- Are their values in line with yours? For example, I use organic and vegan products, as they are really important values of mine. Do you have anything specific you are searching for? Try looking for those.
and lastly….
If it sounds too good to be true then it most likely is (you pay peanuts, you get monkeys).
Whether the person you’re looking at has been in the industry for 2 years or 26 years (ahem me) research is key. Chat with them and find out if they offer the kind of therapy and treatment you’re looking for. Each therapist is different.
